Lorne – the wonderful coastal resort is located south of Melbourne and it takes two hours to reach the place by car using the Great Ocean Road. There are plenty of daily coach and rail services from Melbourne which you can avail if you wish to travel through Geelong. All Saints’ Church of England is also located adjacent to Pacific Hotel was built during 1880’s which is one more heritage building that you can visit to observe the architecture of olden days. Lorne Historical Society’s Museum is situated on the corner of Otway Street and it displays photographs and memorabilia concerning the history and building of the Great Ocean Road.

The Angahook Lorne State Park and QDOS contemporary art gallery are some other places that you can visit to admire art and nature. The gallery has a sculpture garden, exhibition space and function centre with a café. You can walk through coves, cliffs and sandy beaches when you visit the Angahook Lorne State Park. There are deep valleys carved by water falls like Cumberland, Erskine and St George rivers which is an added attraction of this park.
